As a PreK2 Assistant, you will work alongside our lead teacher to guide our students through their daily routines, play, and early learning. This role requires someone who genuinely loves working with toddlers and embodies Christian values—showing love, patience, kindness, and grace in all interactions.
We are currently finalizing our classroom schedules for the upcoming term. Because of this, we have a few different scheduling possibilities on the horizon. We are eager to talk through our current needs and your availability during the interview process to see if we have a match that works perfectly for both of us!
Key Responsibilities
- Share Christ’s Love: Help introduce our students to Jesus through daily Bible stories, simple prayers, worship songs, and by modeling Christian character.
- Support Learning & Growth: Assist in implementing fun, age-appropriate activities that help 2-year-olds develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.
- Provide Loving Care: Respond to children’s needs with extreme patience and affection, assisting with snack times, nap times, potty training/diapering, and comforting them when needed.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Keep the classroom clean, organized, and safe so our students can explore securely.
- Partner with Families: Greet parents warmly and provide positive updates on their child’s day.

- A deep, personal love for Christ and a desire to share that love with young children.
- A big heart with abundant patience, kindness, and energy.
- Previous experience working with toddlers or young children (in a preschool and/or daycare setting) is preferred.
- A strong team player who communicates well and loves collaborating with others.
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements (e.g., background check, CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain them).
