Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School Math Honor Society dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics.

Mu Alpha Theta provides a method for schools to recognize and encourage students who enjoy and excel in mathematics. The organization offers math-related events for students and teachers to participate in across the country. Special awards, scholarships, and grants are offered to students and faculty alike.
