Fayette Academy's SKOL Robotics #9073 officially launched their very first FIRST Robotics Competition team (Team 9073) during the "Charged Up" 2022–2023 season, proudly supported by sponsor Christian Brothers University. Debuting at the Arkansas Regional in Searcy, Arkansas, the team made an immediate impact by taking home the Rookie Inspiration Award. Fueled by this early spark of discovery and innovation, the team refined their machine and advanced to the Rocket City Regional in Huntsville, Alabama, where they continued their upward trajectory—capturing both the Highest Rookie Seed Award and a second Rookie Inspiration Award.
Since that unforgettable rookie year, SKOL Robotics has taken flight, consistently returning to the arena season after season. The team continues to proudly represent Fayette Academy, building on a legacy of hard work, engineering, and sportsmanship—including winning the prestigious Gracious Professionalism Award at the 2026 Arkansas Regional.
Now, we are merging our fierce Viking roots with the legendary spirit of How to Train Your Dragon. As we enter a new era of competition, our team is ready to break boundaries, tame complex engineering challenges, and soar to new heights.
