Ellis White is the owner of Cumberland Optics in Somerville. He currently serves as an at-large member of the Fayette Academy Board of Trustees and was treasurer on the Fayette Academy Board from 2002-2014. Ellis graduated in 1984 with an Ag Business Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Ellis worked as an assistant softball coach at Fayette Academy for ten years. He serves as a deacon at First Baptist Church Somerville and also leads the young adult class. He and his wife, Jeannette, have two children Morgan (Class of ’13) and Tillman (Class of ’15).
