Today, our school and community came together for something bigger than all of us.
In an incredible display of love, support, and community, we gathered to celebrate Make-A-Wish granting Will Cox and his family a trip to Walt Disney World! And tomorrow, the adventure begins!
From the Somerville Police Department, Somerville Fire Department, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, and Chickasaw Electric linemen to our Fayette Academy faculty, students, and so many members of our community, the outpouring of support was a reminder of just how special this family is to us all.
A special thank you to the Ole Miss and University of Memphis athletes, the Savannah Bananas, and the many other organizations and individuals who contributed messages to the special video shown to Will and his family. Your willingness to be part of this moment made it even more meaningful. Will, we hope Disney is everything you’ve dreamed of and MORE!
Enjoy every moment, make incredible memories, and know that an entire community is cheering you on every step of the way!
