The 5/6th Grade Vikings from Fayette Academy won their first-ever Shelby League Championship on Wednesday night by the score of 36-32 over Grace St Lukes of Memphis. The Vikings came back from down 16 points in the first half led by 5th Grader, Hudson Swett with 27 points, 24 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Luke Kenyon and Cole Sheridan received All-Tournament Team, and Hudson Swett was named MVP! First-year coach DJ Jackson and the Vikings finished the season with a record of 21-1 which marks the best finish for the Vikings in the Shelby League era.
